Silicone High Temperature

At temperatures above 316°C, the typical pattern of heat ageing changes. Elongation may not decline as fast as the tensile strength of Silastic® silicone rubber. Hardness, which is normally increased with ageing at moderate temperatures, may actually decrease with age at very high temperatures.
